Australo-Stepnicus ep. 05 Udo

It's Saturday!!! Yay!

The Stepnicuses can't stay at home on the weekend.

First, they do some persimmon picking, which they had put off during the weekday because of their main jobs.

There are quite a lot. As part of nature, the Stepnicuses leave some for the birds.

After picking the persimmons, they come inside and start making the green onion kimchi they couldn't finish yesterday.

Ingredients
2 bunches of green onions (10,950 KRW) - approx. 2kg
Red pepper powder 250ml (?) - 1 cup, 250ml
Blue crab fish sauce 250ml (7,638 KRW) - 27,500 KRW for 900ml
1 pear (2,000 KRW)
1 onion (500 KRW)
1 clove of ginger (?) - Native ginger grown by ourselves
Plum extract 75ml (?) - Domestic plum extract received as a gift
Dried shrimp meat 30g (2,100 KRW) - 35,000 KRW for 500g
Total cost: 22,918 KRW

<Lee Young-ja's Green Onion Kimchi>

1. Evenly coat the white parts of the green onions with 250ml of blue crab fish sauce. Let sit for about 30 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, finely blend "1 pear, 1 onion, 75ml plum extract, 30g dried shrimp, 1 clove of ginger" in a blender.

3. Add 250g of red pepper powder to the prepared sauce and mix it with the blue crab fish sauce used to marinate the green onions. (If you like it spicy, adding a bit of spicy chili powder is even better.)

4. Coat the green onions with the finished sauce.

Since they spent a lot of time making the green onion kimchi, they will have to move busily.

The Stepnicuses have a very busy schedule today. They have to go to Udo for lunch!! (Wait, where did they get the money!?)

Let's hurry!

To make up for their lack of funds, the Stepnicuses are eating out using a blog event.

They are targeting a Chinese restaurant in Udo that not many people can go to. (They live next to Udo... They say they go to Udo all the time, but they are finally going...)

Head to Seongsan Port and depart by boat!!

The love-filled Stepnicuses ended up taking the Sarang 2 (Love 2) boat.

Seagulls follow them. When they get on the boat, you can see people each holding a shrimp cracker and feeding the seagulls.

The Stepnicuses drool as they watch that scene. (Give them to me...)

As soon as they get off, the starving Stepnicuses run to today's destination, the Udo sweet and sour pork restaurant 'Bongchu Banjeom'!

The Stepnicuses take a few photos and start devouring the food.

What a terrifying appetite. Or is this place just delicious?

Likelihood of revisiting: 1000% ->> 'Udo Bongchu Banjeom'. It looks like it's crowded at lunchtime.

After finishing their meal, the Stepnicuses start StepN.

The Stepnicuses are also mining GMT. They already mined all their GST yesterday... It won't reset until after 10 PM. (7.58 GMT = 1,570 KRW, I won't miss it!)

The problem is that the Stepnicuses, who entered Udo empty-handed again, end up walking while avoiding the sun.

When going to Udo, make sure to bring a hat and apply sunscreen. It seems like the sun beats down 20% harder than in Jeju Island.
Additionally, the Stepnicuses highly recommend wearing sneakers and grounding yourself at Seobinbaeksa Beach.
You can receive a foot reflexology massage provided by nature.
